With Dementia and Alzheimer’s, some daily activities in the home and personal care may become difficult and unsafe.
Caring for clients with Dementia and Alzheimer requires experience and patience because it may cause unintended change in behavior such as hallucinations, wandering, rummaging and sundowning. Our Care managers and caregivers understand that it is progressive, which means it changes over time, and our role as care managers and caregivers changes with it.
With dementia, every client is uniquely different and we believe that clients shouldn’t have to leave their home, to live better. Our Dementia units observe, train and measure the following for best possible outcomes when caring for clients with dementia and Alzheimer’s
