Our Caregivers help clients with Parkinson\u2019s disease better manage daily activities and everything from appointments and medications to making difficult care decisions.<\/p>\n

With Parkinsons\u2019, simple daily activities in the\u00a0 home and self-care may become difficult. Our caregivers understand that Caring for someone with Parkinson\u2019s requires patience and the diseases may cause unintended or uncontrollable movements, such as shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination. They also understand that it is progressive, which means it changes over time, and thier role as caregivers changes with it.<\/p>\n

They provide reassurance and tried-and-true strategies for everything from making sure medications are taken, to recommending classes that have been helpful, to working with products that make a client\u2019s life easier such as Pen grips that make writing easier, Reach-and-grab devices and ambulating devices such as a cane, walker or wheel chair if necessary.<\/p>\n

Our Geriatic Care Managers, during home safety checks inspects for safer living areas which checks for handrails along walls, furniture arrangements to enable safe walking areas, kitchen and bathroom safety.<\/p>\n
